Nightshades contain naturally occurring compounds called alkaloids, such as solanine. Are your products free of the “Big 9” ingredients?
Yes – with the exception of our *Rosa Sauce which contains cashews (tree nut), all of our products are free of the Big 9 allergens. No dairy, eggs, peanuts, *tree nuts, wheat, soy or sesame.
Additionally, we don’t use refined sugar, seed oils, gums or fillers.
Our products are vegetable based and made with premium “clean” ingredients.
Are your products gluten-free?
Yes, all of our products are gluten-free.
What is the shelf life of Nada Mato products and how long do they stay fresh once opened?
Nada Mato products are like most prepared products. Unopened products stay good for one year past the printed “best-by” date as long as the jar remains tightly sealed and undamaged. However, quality and flavor may degrade over time.
Our Pasta and Rosa sauce remain fresh once opened and refrigerated for up to 7 days.
Our BBQ sauces and Ketchup remain fresh once opened and refrigerated for up to 6 months.
Our Salsa remains fresh once opened and refrigerated for 2-3 weeks.
Are your products AIP friendly?
Yes! All of our products are AIP introductory level friendly with the exception of our Rosa Sauce which contains cashews. Cashews are among the first seeds that can be reintroduced at Stage 2 after successfully completing the initial elimination phase. Will your products help with my reflux/GERD?
Most people with reflux can tolerate our products easily, however, every body is different. Tomatoes are a major trigger for GERD and we don’t use them. That said – we can’t promise zero flare; we can promise zero tomatoes.
